Tourne de Transmission FW18 - LFWM

Unorthodox cuts and minimalist aesthetics; Tourne de Transmission cut a familiar shape for AW18. But it was the gender fluidity across the mens outfits that brought a refreshing perspective to utility dressing this season.

I loved the oversized shapes - huge shoulder bags furiously flung over the stomping models as they charged around. Combined with the atmospheric gospel setting and thumping beats it was an exciting show to attend! Unfortunately the pace of the models was at times so upbeat it was impossible to actually take in the clothing... a bit of a shame considering the much anticipated show.

That being said, one pop through the whirlwind has to be the beautiful make up by Linda Anderson, who's graphic strokes and perfect texture made even the swiftest man stand out. Along with clever additions from Johnny Brophy, in the form of decadent accessories, and intricate footwear from Keen, the team at Tourne de Transmission have once again managed to create a beautifully constructed collection for the modern man and woman.
