Xander Zhou unveiled his Autumn/Winter 2019 collection during London Fashion Week Men's.
Surreal and sublime, Xander Zhou literally reached for the stars for his A/W19 collection. The collection was like a mash-up of Star Wars, (yes, Chewbacca made an appearance) and a outer world dystopia. There were a multitude of glossy co-ords paired with space shoes, clinical, transparent bodysuits and alien wetsuits, complete with fins.
It might sound like an unwearable collection but hiding behind the futuristic accessories were some great stable pieces. Timeless leather jackets were worn with Nike leggings, boxy shirts could be spotted on the models wearing flippers and chunky fleeces were worn by the models resembling yetis. A wonderful piece of theatre with a few pieces that will be in your wardrobe for years to come.
